I remember a young girl's mother once walked into my class and said 'I don't want my daughter to learn belly dance and show skin'. I assured her, we don't show skin and do Belly Dance without making it look vulgar. She said,'I would like to see the class' and she sat through an hour's session. She left the class. Trust is all that she had on me and the young girl continues to be an integral part of us today! "BELLYSMA" was the way of showing and making the world believe that Belly Dance can be done in a different way, our way, Graceful Way!
