e-Yantra Robotics Competition is a unique competition conceptualised & conducted by IIT Bombay, where students selected from all over India for participation are given: 1. a Robotic kit complete with accessories, 2. Video tutorials to help them learn basic concepts in Embedded systems and Micro-controller programming, and 3. a Rule book that abstracts a real-world problem into a game which they have to solve and implement on the robot. e-Yantra Robotics Competition - 2014 Themes: 1. e-Yantra is a project of IIT Bombay sponsored by MHRD through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT). Students: It provides a platform for students to learn concepts in embedded systems and micro-controller programming by engaging with them through a competition in the Project Based Learning (PBL) mode. Teachers: e-Yantra trains teachers through a workshop and e-Yantra Robotics Teacher Competition (eYRTC) and Helps colleges set up robotics labs by providing guidance and starter robotic kits. Colleges: Brings together the e-Yantra family of students, teachers and colleges to share their experiences and research projects that originated at their robotics labs set up through eLSI.
